This realm encompasses the nuanced spheres of Rights and Governance, Litigation and Advocacy, as well as Corporate and Commercial matters. His clientele primarily consists of Indigenous entities, facilitating their navigation through the complexities of community, economic, social, and cultural endeavors. These engagements often involve aspects recognized under legislations such as the First Nation Lands Management Act and the First Nation Fiscal Management Act, alongside the acknowledgment of inherent Indigenous rights.

Daly's professional journey is underpinned by a comprehensive academic background that includes a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo (1975), an LLB from Queen’s University (1978), and his subsequent admission to the Bar in Alberta and Ontario (1980). Beyond the confines of his academic and professional achievements, Daly's life is deeply enriched by his roles as a father and a sailor—each of which has imbued him with resilience, empathy, and a wealth of experiences.

Within his practice, Daly offers a spectrum of services to Indigenous entities. These range from the organization and operation of various programs and services (such as policing, healthcare, childcare, education, and community infrastructure) to addressing workplace disputes, governance issues, and land rights claims. His expertise also extends to applications related to land and revenue laws, judicial reviews, consultations with the Crown and stakeholders, and the development of legal frameworks for economic, social, and cultural projects.

A distinguished member of McKenzie Lake's Indigenous Practice Group, Daly holds licenses from the Law Societies of Ontario and Alberta. He has also earned a certification from the Law Society of Ontario in civil litigation, highlighting his recognized expertise in this domain.

Daly's personal narrative includes accolades as a national sailing champion in his youth, a passion he continues to indulge alongside his family at their lakeside retreat. While he aspires to enhance his golfing skills, he humorously acknowledges this ambition might remain an elusive dream.
