Paul Nielsen

Paul's legal journey spans decades, marked by a series of engagements with Mills & Mills LLP, where he initially served from 2001 to 2011. After a brief hiatus, he made a notable return in 2014, aligning once more with the firm's LegalShield group, where he continues to contribute his expertise.

His academic foundation was laid at York University, where he earned an honours Bachelor of Arts in 1974, followed by an LLB from the University of Windsor in 1977. Paul's legal prowess was officially recognized in 1979 when he was called to the bar, marking the beginning of a distinguished career.

Paul's legal acumen spans a broad spectrum, with a particular emphasis on litigation. He has adeptly handled cases in criminal defense, civil litigation, and family law, showcasing his versatility and depth of knowledge in each field.

Beyond his primary practice, Paul has actively contributed to the legal community and beyond through various memberships and affiliations. He holds memberships with The Law Society of Ontario, Essex County Law Association, and Kent County Law Association, reflecting his commitment to the legal profession. His community involvement extends to his participation in the St. George’s Lodge G.R.C. of the Masons, illustrating his dedication to civic engagement.

Paul's leadership and passion for community service are further evidenced by his roles on the boards of Pointe West Golf Club and the Curling Club of Kingsville. These positions, along with his past service on the Summit Golf Club board, underscore his commitment to both his professional and personal communities.
