COURTNEY LUSTER is a Private Equity managing associate in the firm’s Dallas office. Courtney has represented various private and public companies, private equity sponsors, and portfolio companies in complex business transactions in connection with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and restructurings.

Courtney earned her Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, graduating magna cum laude and Order of the Coif. While in law school, Courtney served as the managing editor of the Journal of Air Law and Commerce for the SMU Law Review Association. She held internships at American Airlines, an international law firm, and Sabre Corporation. Other activities she participated in during law school include serving as an officer and student representative of the Honor Council, a member of the Student Bar Association, a mentor for the Academic Success Program, and a member and vice magister for the Phi Delta Phi legal honor society.
