Chris Patton

Chris Patton is a client-focused commercial litigator with proven success in state and federal court. Licensed to practice in both Texas and New York, he specializes in litigation for businesses ranging from start-ups to global companies on a wide range of commercial topics, including antitrust, contracts, intellectual property, and business torts. Chris has distilled this experience in a published practice guide entitled Texas Trade Secret Litigation. His success has landed him on the Benchmark Litigation “Hot List” and earned him recognition as a “Texas Super Lawyer” by Thomson Reuters.

Before joining LPHS, Chris practiced commercial litigation in New York at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP, representing high-profile technology companies, global banks, and investment companies.

Chris received his B.A. from Brigham Young University, and his J.D., with honors, from George Washington University Law School. As an accomplished jazz pianist, Chris brings a unique ear for detail and improvisational thinking to his commercial litigation practice.
