For over 28 years, Charles Phipps has represented clients in intellectual property litigation and prosecution matters. He serves as lead trial counsel in jury trials and has taken cases through trial, including those cases involving patents, trademarks and copyrights. He represents clients in intellectual property lawsuits pending in U.S. District Courts, state courts and adversarial proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office both as plaintiff's counsel and as defense counsel. His litigation experience spans across numerous industries, technologies, products and services, which allows him to bring a broad base of experience to each client’s specific lawsuit, technology and legal issue. Charles is Co-Chair of Locke Lord's Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group. His experience allows him to focus on the key issues and to provide practical legal advice that assists his clients in making business decisions.
