More Information:

AMANDA STEGER is a litigator and trial lawyer, representing clients in product liability, toxic tort, and mass tort litigation across the country. Amanda has defended international and national companies in a wide variety of multidistrict, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death litigation involving automotive, consumer, chemical, and other products. She is experienced in consistently and efficiently managing a docket of active complex product liability cases from beginning to end. This has given her the opportunity to take depositions, argue motions, prepare corporate representatives for deposition, and mediate matters. Having tried cases to verdict, Amanda appreciates the importance of smart case work-up, focused discovery, a cohesive corporate narrative, and thorough expert analysis. This experience gives Amanda the insight to combine her passion for defending her clients’ products and innovation with her understanding of products law to craft a defense with the jury in mind. Amanda’s professional ethos also extends to written advocacy through the authorship of persuasive dispositive and discovery motions, the results of which have led to published opinions at the state, federal, and appellate levels. Effective litigation management is a top priority for Amanda. As a result, she has experience in developing litigation strategies as well as preparing case evaluations, jury research plans, and fee forecasting for her clients.

Amanda earned her J.D. from Baylor University School of Law, graduating 10th in her class. While in law school, she was a member of the Trial Advocacy Mock Trial Team, co-president of the Women’s Legal Society, chosen to serve as a practice court assistant, and served as an editor for two publications: Texas Commercial Causes of Action: Claims, Defenses and Remedies and Texas Courtroom Evidence. She earned her B.A., summa cum laude, in political science, international relations, and comparative politics, from Abilene Christian University.

Before attending law school, Amanda led efforts as an AmeriCorps VISTA and in the nonprofit sector to improve the lives of Texas’s children. Now, she uses her legal background to support the community around her. In her free time, Amanda enjoys making memories with her children and husband, cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, and mentoring.
