ANDREW LANGFORD is a litigator with an emphasis on patent disputes about high technology and the life sciences, including Hatch-Waxman litigation.

Andrew has experience in all phases of litigation, from pre-suit investigation to trial and appeal. He has litigated in district courts around the country, the PTAB, and the ITC. Andrew also has experience navigating complex licensing negotiations.

Andrew’s matters involve a variety of fields, including semiconductors, wireless communications, prostate cancer therapy, anticoagulants, website development, cybersecurity, solar cells, nanotechnology, and heart monitors. His experience includes breach of RAND obligations and standard essential patent analysis. He has a B.S. in electrical engineering, with an emphasis in communications systems.

While attending law school, Andrew interned with the Honorable Randall R. Rader at the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and received honors for oral advocacy at Oxford University’s International IP Moot competition. Andrew also published articles on claim construction and antitrust law.

After graduating from law school, Andrew obtained the second-highest score on the Texas bar exam in a field of 3,023 applicants.
