More Information:

Jamie Drillette is a senior associate at LPHS. Her expertise spans a wide range of industries—from oil and gas to franchise disputes. She’s a force in and out of the courtroom—taking and defending depositions, drafting dispositive motions, and leading hearings in both state and federal courts. She has represented clients in multiple jury and non-jury trials, and recently served second chair in a federal trial resulting in a nearly eight million dollar jury verdict.

Jamie earned a BA in Political Science from Colorado College and a J.D. with honors from the University of Texas School of Law in Austin, where she served on the Editorial Board of the Texas Law Review. She also worked as a teaching assistant and participated in the Hutcheson Moot Court Competition.

Prior to joining LPHS, Jamie clerked for The Honorable Justice Paul Green in the Supreme Court of Texas where she assisted the Justice in evaluating petitions and drafting majority opinions in areas including property tax, medical malpractice, and utility regulation. Jamie also previously practiced law as a litigation associate at Baker Botts, LLP.

In 2024, Jamie was named a Super Lawyers “Texas Rising Star.” She has also won awards for her pro-bono work. In 2020, Jamie and her team were awarded the D CEO Magazine Nonprofit and Corporate Citizenship Award, “In-Kind Services Supporter” for their work with a local non-profit to obtain a judgment ordering the demolition of a notorious drug and prostitution house. She’s also taken on high-profile pro bono work, like her co-representation of Hope Solo in arbitration before the United States Olympic Committee against the U.S. Soccer Federation.

Jamie is passionate about education and has worked with schools and NGOs around the world teaching English to adults and children, as well as leading seminars to educators. Jamie loves the outdoors, and travels to the mountains when she can for hiking and snowboarding. She currently lives in Dallas with her dog, Baxendale.
