Daniel Mitchell is an associate attorney in the aviation practice at the law firm of SHACKELFORD, BOWEN, MCKINLEY & NORTON, LLP, in Dallas, Texas, specializing in aviation property tax law and corporate transactions. Daniel also maintains a broad practice encompassing business entity formation, organization and restructuring; banking and finance transactions; real estate transactions; oil and gas transactions and regulatory law; aviation litigation and construction law.

Daniel graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law where he was a two-time member of the Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court team and a member of the Dean’s Honor Roll. Prior to attending law school, Daniel was an Independent Petroleum Landman for 7 years in West Virginia, Oklahoma, Texas, Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado.

At Oklahoma City University, Daniel was a three-time All-American golfer and an individual national champion. Daniel was a professional golfer before career ending injuries led him to pursue a new path.
