Terms of Service- Canadian Lawyers
A lawyer’s listing in this paid website, in no way, suggests or implies a qualitative superiority to other Canadian lawyers that are not listed in this Canadian lawyer directory. Additionally, a lawyer’s past success or results are not necessarily indicative of future results and that the amount (if any) recovered and other litigation outcomes will vary according to the facts and merits of each individual case. Hiring a lawyer is an important decision and the selection process should not be taken lightly.
No decision should be based solely upon newspaper, radio, internet (Including biographies and ads on this website) or other advertisements. Perform your own due diligence to determine the proper ability, knowledge, and experience of the lawyer/law firm to handle your case.
If you want to get to know our values, please read our blogs once you are finished reading these terms of service.

Receiving Legal Services
Clearway Law is a platform where lawyers unaffiliated with Clearway Law can offer information and interact with potential clients. We will one day offer a number of methods by which someone can purchase legal services. People will be able to have a direct, confidential discussion of their legal issues with a lawyer. This is our response to the access to justice problem.
Although some of these methods will involve Clearway Law processing a transaction on your behalf, in all instances, Clearway Law is simply the intermediary in such transactions. The money will never go into a trust account, as we are not a law firm.
You are liable for paying the lawyer for the services provided. Clearway Law has no liability, either primarily or secondarily, for paying the lawyer. We plan to work with the local law societies, but will not take part in law society complaints made about lawyers.
Any lawyer-client relationship formed as a result of such discussions is between you and the lawyer you speak with—not between you and Clearway Law.
