We are looking for someone to edit and update our blogs on our website. You can see a video of what this looks like here.
We have around 800 blogs that need to be edited in this way. You will be given access to our blog and use WordPress and Yoast to make changes. You would make improvements category by category. You would start at the bottom of the “Employment law” Category on WordPress’s first category page.
If you come across a blog that already has AI art on it, you can skip it, as it was likely recently updated.

Changes to be made include…
Using premium Grammarly to improve the blogs
Once you get a paid account, you can add your settings to the information below.

The first step is to accept all of Grammerly’s suggestions. You can see what the suggestions look like below.

Improving The Pictures
We are moving away from memes and stock photos and replacing them with AI-generated art. Our script could be “Make an image of “Family Law in Canada,” a comic, white man, black female.” You can change up the genders and races. The first picture should appear after the first blog.
Don’t forget the alt text for the new photos, which can be taken from the paragraph headings.
We also like to add YouTube videos to the blogs.
Checking The Internal And External Links
Check to make sure there is an internal or external link every few paragraphs. If not, add one. If there is one, check to make sure they are working.
If you find one that is “clearwaylawblog… etc.” then remove the link and replace it with an auto-suggested internal link or pick an external link.
The below is wrong.

And the picture below is right.

The internal links should show alistair9… etc
Change The Blog Format
We want to avoid content that is too short (one sentence) or too long (more than three sentences). The image below is too short.

And the content below is too long.

The picture below is perfect.

Get Rid of Any AI Wording On Our Website
We used to have guest writers send us content, and we posted it. Get rid of common Chat GPT wording like:
-Yet,
-However,
-First,
-Finally,
-Further,
-In other words,
-Unfortunately,
-Putting abbreviations after defining a term and only using the abbreviation from then on. Mix up the abbreviation with the full term. For example, Registered Retirement Savings Plan VS RRSP.
When mentioning locations, it often puts something like “In Canada,” … Instead this could be changed to “The divorce rate is high in Canada… etc”

Get Rid of Any Author Bios At The End of the Blog
For example.

Use The Yoast Recommendations

But make sure the title and meta description fall within the limit. I’m not sure why Yoast suggests titles and descriptions which violate their own limits.

Also, be careful because the exact AI words are used for the title. These words often include:
-Understanding
-What you need to know
-Demystifying
-Key Considerations
Find semantic words to use.
If you find any other issues with the blogs, please don’t just power on to the next one. Take the time to fix them. The goal is to make the blogs as good as possible so they rank well and add value to our readers.
