Leanndria Halcro officially joined the ranks of legal practitioners in June 2021 after being called to the bar. Her journey to becoming a lawyer began at the University of Victoria, where she pursued her law degree. During her time there, she broadened her horizons with a semester abroad at the University of Hong Kong, enriching her legal education with diverse perspectives.

While at the University of Victoria, Ms. Halcro actively engaged in practical legal experience through the Law Centre program. Additionally, she dedicated a summer to serve as a Student Case Worker with Student Legal Assistance, providing crucial legal aid to individuals with limited means.

Driven by her passion for ensuring access to justice for all, Ms. Halcro continues to volunteer her time with Calgary Legal Guidance, furthering her commitment to serving the community.

Currently, Ms. Halcro is an associate at Roulston Urquhart Criminal Defence, where she benefits from the mentorship of Tonii Roulston. In her role, she has delved into trial litigation, handling cases spanning from drug trafficking to sexual assault, domestic violence, and impaired driving. With each case, Ms. Halcro brings dedication, skill, and a relentless pursuit of justice for her clients.
