we were just hanging out, having a good time, and I might’ve had a couple of beers. Okay, maybe more than a couple, but who’s counting. It’s getting late and I decide it’s time to bounce, and I didn't think I was like, too buzzed to drive or anything. But as I’m driving back home down Central Avenue, I get pulled over by a cop. He says I was swerving or something, which I totally don’t remember, but yeah, he ends up arresting me for DUI. Totally harsh. So now I’m sitting here with a court date coming up and my parents are super mad about it, and I gotta figure out what to do. I’ve never been in trouble like this before, so it’s all kinda new to me. Plus, I heard getting a DUI can mess up a lot of stuff for you later on, like college and jobs and all that. I guess what I’m asking is, what can I do now? Like, is there a way to get out of this that doesn’t end with me getting in major trouble? And what should I be doing to prepare for court? I heard from a buddy that sometimes lawyers can find mistakes the cops made, or something like that, and use it to your advantage? Is that true?
